Pintar ha sido parte de mi vida desde siempre. No como una elección puntual, sino como una forma natural de habitar el mundo. Mi trabajo nace de una práctica sostenida en el tiempo, de una relación profunda con los materiales, el color y el hacer cotidiano. El taller es un espacio vivo, de exploración constante, donde cada obra aparece como resultado de la intuición, la emoción y la necesida ...d de traducir lo invisible en imagen.
Durante muchos años, mi obra estuvo centrada en mujeres de ojos grandes y miradas intensas, como un primer lenguaje para explorar lo emocional y lo invisible. Con el tiempo, esa búsqueda se expandió sin límites hacia universos más amplios: mujeres norteñas, Ganeshas, la Virgen de Guadalupe, corazones, pájaros y símbolos que conviven en un mismo territorio visual. No como temas aislados, sino como expresiones de una misma fuerza vital que atraviesa culturas, creencias y tiempos.
Hoy trabajo desde esa libertad: combinando lo vivo y lo contrastado, lo delicado y lo potente, lo íntimo y lo simbólico. Corazones con múltiples texturas, flores que se abren como ofrendas, aves que sugieren movimiento y trascendencia aparecen como lenguajes sensibles que hablan sin palabras. Mi pintura busca justamente eso: una imagen que no se explica, sino que se siente.
Me interesa el contraste entre lo delicado y lo intenso, lo ornamental y lo esencial, lo figurativo y lo simbólico. Pinto sobre lienzo, papel, madera y objetos, explorando superficies que también cuentan algo antes de ser intervenidas. Creo profundamente que el arte tiene sentido cuando genera vínculo, cuando alguien se reconoce en una imagen, en una textura, en una emoción.
Mis viajes, los encuentros con otras culturas y las distintas exhibiciones que he realizado a lo largo del mundo alimentan constantemente mi imaginario y expanden mi manera de mirar. Cada experiencia vuelve al taller transformada en color, forma y emoción compartida.
Painting has always been a part of my life. Not as a specific choice, but as a natural way of inhabiting the world. My work stems from a sustained practice over time, from a deep relationship with materials, color, and everyday creation. The studio is a living space, a place of constant exploration, where each piece emerges as a result of intuition, emotion, and the need to translate the invisible ... into image.
For many years, my work focused on women with large eyes and intense gazes, as a primary language for exploring the emotional and the invisible. Over time, this exploration expanded without limits to broader universes: women from northern Mexico, Ganeshas, the Virgin of Guadalupe, hearts, birds, and symbols that coexist in the same visual territory. Not as isolated themes, but as expressions of the same vital force that transcends cultures, beliefs, and time.
Today I work from that freedom: combining the vibrant and the contrasting, the delicate and the powerful, the intimate and the symbolic. Hearts with multiple textures, flowers opening like offerings, birds suggesting movement and transcendence appear as sensitive languages that speak without words. My painting seeks precisely that: an image that is not explained, but felt.
I am interested in the contrast between the delicate and the intense, the ornamental and the essential, the figurative and the symbolic. I paint on canvas, paper, wood, and objects, exploring surfaces that also tell a story before being transformed. I deeply believe that art has meaning when it creates a connection, when someone recognizes themselves in an image, a texture, an emotion.
My travels, encounters with other cultures, and the various exhibitions I have held around the world constantly nourish my imagination and expand my way of seeing. Each experience returns to the studio transformed into color, form, and shared emotion.
