Nace Montevideo Uruguay en 1950.
Comienza a los nueve años a tomar clases de dibujo y pintura estimulada por su madre.
Cursa sus estudios primarios en el Colegio José Pedro Varela y secundarios en el Liceo Francés en Montevideo. En el año 1964 el Colegio Varela le otorga una beca de dibujo y pintura. Participa posteriormente del concurso de la empresa Coca – Cola obteniendo el primer l ...ugar.
En 1964 ingresa al Instituto de Bellas Artes San Francisco de Asís, donde estudia junto al profesor Cabregou.
En 1966 el Colegio Varela la convoca para comenzar a dar clases a alumnos de secundaria. Ese mismo año cursa el taller de Jorge Damiani en el Círculo de Bellas Artes.
En este mismo año, en busca de nuevas formas de expresión, concurre al Taller del Ceramista Duncan Quintela hasta 1972.
A partir de 1967 concurre asiduamente a la galería de Alicia Karlen Gugelmeier. Conoce a diferentes artistas y comienza a tomar clases junto a Clavel Neme hasta 1974.
A partir de ese año, debido a las circunstancias políticas del país, se dedica al diseño de vestimenta e indumentaria que continúa en Buenos Aires hasta 1982.
Viaja a Europa, recorriendo Portugal, España, Palmas de Mallorca, Marruecos, Francia, Italia, Grecia, Alemania e Inglaterra.
En 1986 regresa a Montevideo y monta su propio taller desde 1989 a 2006.
En 1991 es invitada por el Ministerio de Cultura de Uruguay a participar de un Congreso Internacional de Arte, convocando a 36 paises, en Prilep, Macedonia (ex Yugoslavia) representando a Uruguay.
Ese mismo año viaja a Paris y toma contacto con la Galería de Arte Contemporáneo Richard Treger. Unos meses después, esta galería le ofrece una muestra individual para noviembre de 1992. Adquiere una permanencia de muestras en la misma durante más de diez años hasta su cierre. Ese mismo año conoce a Gabrielle Friedgans, galerista en Montecarlo (Mónaco), quien la invita a participar en su galería.
En 2003 monta su propia galería en La Barra de Maldonado (Uruguay). Aquí entra en contacto con los administradores de la galería RUS Fine Arts, y le proponen una muestra individual para el siguiente año en Southhampton Nueva York.
Entre los años 2004 y 2006 crea su propio espacio pictórico en el casco de la Ciudad Vieja (Montevideo) con Gabriela Guntin.
En el 2006 viaja a México invitada por el Ministerio de Cultura de Colima. En el Museo Chávez Carrillo participa en la muestra colectiva Identidad, curada por Daniela Bueno, donde expone junto con otros artistas mexicanos, como César Burgos y Gabriel de la Mora.
Con el fin de tener un espacio nuevo para donde impulsar un gran cambio en la forma de expresión artística de su pintura, en el año 2011 toma la decisión de mudarse a la ciudad de Colonia, Uruguay, donde construye su propia casa-taller.

At the age of nine, she began to take drawing and painting classes, encouraged by her mother.
She attends her primary studies at the José Pedro Varela School and secondary studies at the French Lyceum in Montevideo. In 1964, the Varela College awarded him a drawing and painting scholarship. She later participates in the Coca-Cola company contest, obtainin ...g first place.
In 1964 she entered the San Francisco de Asís Institute of Fine Arts, where she studied with Professor Cabregou.
In 1966 the Varela College summoned her to begin teaching secondary school students. That same year she attended Jorge Damiani's workshop at the Círculo de Bellas Artes.
In this same year, in search of new forms of expression, she attended the Workshop of the ceramicist Duncan Quintela until 1972.
Starting in 1967, she regularly attended Alicia Karlen Gugelmeier's gallery. She meets different artists and begins to take classes with Clavel Neme until 1974.
From that year, due to the political circumstances of the country, she dedicated herself to the design of clothing and clothing that she continued in Buenos Aires until 1982.
She travels to Europe, visiting Portugal, Spain, Palmas de Mallorca, Morocco, France, Italy, Greece, Germany and England.
In 1986 she returned to Montevideo and set up her own workshop from 1989 to 2006.
In 1991 she is invited by the Ministry of Culture of Uruguay to participate in an International Art Congress, summoning 36 countries, in Prilep, Macedonia (former Yugoslavia) representing Uruguay.
That same year she traveled to Paris and made contact with the Richard Treger Contemporary Art Gallery. A few months later, this gallery offers her a solo show for November 1992. She stays there for more than ten years until it closes. That same year she meets Gabrielle Friedgans, a gallery owner in Monte Carlo (Monaco), who invites her to participate in her gallery.
In 2003 she set up her own gallery in La Barra de Maldonado (Uruguay). Here she contacts the administrators of the RUS Fine Arts gallery, and they propose a solo show for the following year in Southhampton, New York.
Between 2004 and 2006 she created her own pictorial space in the Old City (Montevideo) with Gabriela Guntin.
In 2006 she traveled to Mexico invited by the Ministry of Culture of Colima. At the Chávez Carrillo Museum, she participates in the group show Identidad, curated by Daniela Bueno, where she exhibits along with other Mexican artists, such as César Burgos and Gabriel de la Mora.
In order to have a new space to promote a great change in the form of artistic expression of her painting, in 2011 she made the decision to move to the city of Colonia, Uruguay, where she built her own house. -her workshop
