Alvaro Bonilla


Alvaro Bonilla desarrolla en la temática de sus barcos, su lenguaje plástico con un fuerte acento expresivo. La materia, el color, la mancha azarosa, así como los ensambles de maderas y alambres conforman su universo de veleros y puertos que navegan entre la abstracción y la figuración, entre dos aguas como nuestro río mar. Grandes proas, velas desplegadas al viento, la pintura de Bonilla ...es una metáfora de esa necesidad que tenemos todos, de navegar y navegarnos por esta vida.
